Food from this year's Windy City Smokeout

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The third annual Windy City Smokeout returns to downtown Chicago on July 10-12, 2015 at Grand Street and the Chicago River. The festival brings together some of the best bar-b-que grillers from around the country, award-winning country music artists, and craft beer. More than 30,000 guests are expected for the three day event.

Chicago q chef Lee Ann Whippen came to the ABC 7 kitchen to show us what she's cooking for this year's festival.

Hours: The hours for Windy City Smokeout are: 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, July 10, noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday, July 11 and noon to 9 p.m. on Sunday, July 12.
