Museum exhibit honors Bishop Ford

Mayor Richard Daley was on hand Friday at the DuSable Museum, 740 E. 56th Pl., where the exhibit highlights the life of Bishop Louis Henry Ford. The display describes the accomplishments of the internationally known minister and civil rights leader.

Bishop Ford led Chicago's Church of God in Christ, the largest African-American Pentecostal congregation in the world.

The exhibit opens with a gala reception on Saturday, January 12.

The exhibit sponsors also hope to produce a television documentary about Bishop Ford.
