Seized puppies up for adoption soon

They were found with 10 adult pitbulls in south suburban Robbins. Many of them were sick or injured.

The dogs were crowded into a trailer belonging to James Foster. On Friday, he was charged with animal abuse. Authorities said it appeared foster was breeding the dogs to fight.

The animal welfare league is caring for the puppies, who are about six weeks old. Once they've been treated for their illnesses, they'll be ready to go home to new families.
