Police say 34-year-old Jacer Medina shot and killed Ricky Lee McDaniel in the Chicago suburb of Dixmoor back in 1994. Investigators in Memphis on Wednesday arrested Medina, who had appeared several times on America's Most Wanted.
In January 1994, police say McDaniel was trying to be a good Samaritan when he chased down a drunk driving Medina and his passenger.
Authorities contend Medina shot and killed McDaniel four months later as revenge. Medina is expected to be handed over to federal authorities for extradition back to Illinois.
