'Unity Day' honors slain CPS student

CHICAGO Hundreds of people lifted their voices at Foreman High School on the city's Northwest Side.

The Evangel World Outreach Center hosted the event so people could unite and pray for peace following the recent violence at crane.

Ivy, 18, was shot and killed outside the school on March 7th. A 15-year-old boy is charged in his death.

Parents and clergymen at the event called on the west side community to help stop the violence.
