Classes at two elementary schools were canceled Friday after the discovery of two threatening notes. The first was found Tuesday on a bathroom wall at Schrum Memorial School in Calumet City. A second message was found a day later.

As a result, District 157 decided to cancel classes at both Schrum and Hoover Elementary schools. They're expected to reopen Monday.
