Vietnam veteran Greg Kachka is due in court Monday. He is charged with disorderly conduct. Kachka was arrested after a village board meeting in March in northwest suburban Island Lake. In the meeting, he wore a shirt that pictured a Marine Corps sniper, with the words, "Don't move. If you run, you'll only die tired."

At the same time, he allegedly used his hand to portray a gun pointed at board members.

Free speech activists plan to protest the charges outside the Lake County courthouse in Waukegan before Monday's arraignment.
