As students prepare for the first day of class, police are reminding them about citywide curfews, which are enforced from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. on weekdays and from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. on weekends.

Minors out during those hours can be cited by Chicago police.

Since January, more than 18,200 curfew violations have been issued.
