Police say the victims were playing a game on the sidewalk near the corner of South Saint Louis and Lexington when three men confronted them and began to shoot. It's unclear exactly what may have sparked the gunfire.
The 18-year-old man was pronounced dead on the scene.
The two wounded victims were rushed to the hospital. They are expected to be OK.
