Allergies could explain cell phone rash

It may sound crazy but you may be allergic to your cell phone. There's a new diagnosis going around called "mobile phone dermatitis." It affects people who develop an allergic reaction to the nickel surface on mobile phones after spending long periods of time on the devices.

The British Association of Dermatologists says doctors should know a red or itchy unexplained rash on the ear or cheek could be a direct result of mobile phones.

The group says many doctors are unaware that mobile phones can cause the condition.
