About Ignite the Spirit Fund

Firemen are frequent organizers of events that raise funds for foundations such as Make-A-Wish, Gold Badge Society, Camp I Am Me and others. During the holidays, they also participate in toy drives by collecting toys and making deliveries all across the city. The phrase also represents the sense of family and unity that is felt among firefighters. They're always looking out for each other and are there for one another no matter what. That's why they hope the Ignite the Spirit Fund will draw just as much success as other charitable causes that the fire department proudly supports. By supporting the Fund, you're letting the firefighters know that you'll be there when they need you, too.

2009 Calendar Kickoff Parties

North Side Party
The Grand Kick-Off Party on the North Side will be held on Saturday, November 1st, 2008 (3/D)(EMS 4) at the Cubby Bear located at 1059 West Addison Street, Chgo., IL #773-327-1662. The Calendar Party on November 1st will start at 6:00p.m. until 10:00p.m. The cost is $20.00 per person and includes refreshments, food and entertainment. All calendars will be autographed, by request by the 2009 men. T-shirts will also be available.

South Side Party
The Grand Kick-Off Party on the South Side will be held on Friday, November 28th, 2008 (3/C)(EMS 3) at 115 Bourbon Street located at 3359 West 115th Street, Merrionette Park, IL - 708.388.8881. The Calendar Party on November 28th will start at 8:00p.m. until 12:00p.m. The cost is $30.00 per person which includes refreshments, food and entertainment. Autographed calendars, by request, and T-shirts will also be available during the event.
