Authorities in Country Club Hills say they are tracking new leads in the murders of two elderly residents. Police say they are talking with two persons of interest in connection with the case.

So far, no charges have been filed, but Country Club Hills Mayor Dwight Welch says the suspects have taken polygraph tests regarding the shooting deaths of 75-year-old Minnie Taylor and 77-year-old Leon Taylor. They were shot inside their home in late January

The Taylors were among five homicide victims in that suburb within 11 days in late January and early February.
