March 23, 2009 (CHICAGO) --Senn High School on Chicago's North Side was evacuated on Monday morning because of strong chlorine vapors. Firefighters were called to the school around 11 o'clock this morning.
Staff members were trying to move a container of chlorine near the school's swimming pool when it began leaking.
No one became ill.
Fifteen hundred students were allowed back in the building when the fumes dissipated about two hours later.
