1 cup low fat vanilla yogurt
1/2 medium orange, juiced
1 Tablespoon pomegranate syrup or pomegranate juice, if desired
Blend together, and pour into a glass.
Yield: 1 large smoothie, or two small smoothies. Garnish with whatever fruit you are using.
Connie's Notes: Use any type of unsweetened frozen fruit. The frozen fruit gives a nice refreshing texture to the smoothie. You can use fresh fruit if you have it, but freeze it first. I've tried using plain yogurt and adding vanilla, and it doesn't taste as good as using vanilla yogurt. An immersion blender or regular blender makes the job easy.
