Charges filed in Loop theater bomb scare

October 9, 2009 (CHICAGO) Prosecutors say Benjamin Javellana left suspicious packages in the alley behind the Bank of America Theater Tuesday night.

A performance of Jersey Boys was interrupted, and the theater was evacuated. Approximately 1,600 people were in the theatre at the time.

Guests at the Hampton Inn next door were also relocated, and several streets were closed off because of the bomb scare.

No explosives were found, no one was injured.
