Chicago police have issued an alert to the community after a string of robberies on the South Side.The armed robberies were reported during both the morning and evening hours in stores on Ashland and Western avenues, between 63rd and 75th streets.
The robbers enter a store displaying handguns and demand money from the register.
The robbers are described as two black men in their early 20s between 5'7"-5'9", about 150 lbs. One has medium to dark complexion, the other has a dark complexion and wore dark clothing.
