Prosecutors say 18-year-old Christopher Brown is accused of using a kitchen knife to rob a 7-Eleven store in Glenview on March 12.
The Cook County sheriff's office says Brown stole cigarettes and firewood and was arrested a short time later with the stolen items. Police say Brown also spit in the face of two officers.Brown is charged with armed robbery, aggravated battery to a police officer and resisting arrest.
