Gary Fryrear, 48, was last heard from on August 8, 2010 when after he told his family he was going to visit a friend in DeKalb, according to police.
Police say that family members say Fryrear was distraught over personal matters. They are concerned for his safety. Police say Fryrear has connections in Arizona and relatives in Colorado.
Fryrear was last known to be driving a dark blue Toyota 2006 Scion, bearing Illinois registration G940026. He is a white male with gray hair, blue eyes and a fair complexion. He is 6'3 and weighs 180 pounds.
