A Hoffman Estates man charged in a hit-and-run crash that killed 2 British men in south Florida has left jail after posting bond.

Ryan LeVin, 35, is charged with two counts of vehicular homicide in the February 2009 accident in Fort Lauderdale.

Police say he was driving a Porsche at a high rate of speed, lost control, and struck the 2 British tourists.

LeVin had been in jail since March, but an appellate court ruling allowed him to be released on $21,000 bond Thursday night.
