Firefighters battle blaze at West Loop building

Randolph Street between Halsted and Des Plaines was blocked early Monday after a fire broke out in a two-story building. About 5:37 a.m., a fire started at 731 W. Randolph St., according to Fire Media Affairs Director Larry Langford.

About 5:57 a.m., the fire was extinguished, Langford said. However, the street was blocked as crews continued cleaning up.

No injuries have been reported.
