September 14, 2010 (CHICAGO) --A West Side teen, whose actions allegedly led to the accidental shooting death of his 5-year-old nephew, is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday morning. Antoine Heard, 17, is accused of stashing a gun he found under toys and clothes belonging to his nephew, Jonathan Jackson. Police say Jonathan's twin brother thought it was a toy and shot and killed his brother.
Police charged Heard with endangering the life of a child causing death. He'll be formally arraigned Tuesday morning. Heard is being held on $250,000 bond.
