Study shows travelers like self service

October 11, 2010

A new study shows more than 70 percent of travelers check in for flights using airport kiosks. But two thirds of respondents say they'd also use the kiosks for non-routine purposes, including paying baggage fees, buying meals and claiming delayed baggage. Seventy percent say they'd tag their own bag if it were allowed.

An aviation technology consulting firm conducted the survey at seven large airports around the world.
