The suspects allegedly lured two victims to an apartment building under the pretense that they were selling a laptop computer. Police say Cesar Alvarado, 21, and Ryan Reed, 21, held the pair up at gunpoint, stealing their money, cell phones and a set of keys, authorities say, before fleeing the scene. The suspects were later positively identified by the victims.
Alvarado, of the 500 block of East Lincoln Street, and Reed, 21, of the 400 block of East Lincoln Street, were each charged with two felony counts of armed robbery. Alvarado's bond was set at $200,000 and Reed's bond was set at $300,000
Both suspects are scheduled to appear in court on March 1.
