Service resumes on CTA Yellow Line

April 5, 2014 2:12:50 PM PDT
Transit authorities resumed rail service on the Yellow Line early Tuesday after it was suspended because of weather-related issues.

Inclement weather caused the temporary suspension of the ground-level line also known as the Skokie Swift.

Commuters were able to take advantage of shuttle service on the No. 97 Skokie bus as an alternative to Yellow Line service between northwest suburban Skokie and the Howard Station on the city's Far North Side.
