A grenade was found Thursday morning at a recycling and waste management company on the Far South Side.

The grenade was apparently brought into the facility near 137th and Jeffrey in one of the company's waste loads.

Police said the practice grenade still had some charge but did not explode.

The bomb and arson squad will dispose of it.

No one was hurt.
