Stress may not play role in infertility after all

February 25, 2011

British researchers studied more than a dozen previous reports and reached that conclusion.

The research came from 10 countries and involved more than 3,500 infertile women who underwent a round of fertility treatments. They studied the women's emotional stress levels before treatment, and then they compared the rates of women who did and did not become pregnant.

The results showed stress had no impact on whether a woman became pregnant or not.
