Green Bay man found guilty in drug-related death

March 5, 2011 (GREEN BAY, Wis.)

A Brown County jury found 26-year-old Walter Rupar III guilty Friday night of first-degree intentional homicide in the Dec. 4, 2008 death of 23-year-old Eulices Camancho-Pineda. He was also found guilty of armed robbery with use of force and false imprisonment.

The Green Bay Press-Gazette reports witnesses testified they saw two masked men beat Camancho-Pineda in his home before one of them shot him in the chest with a shotgun.

Another man, 27-year-old Jacino Fraire, is serving a 40-year prison term for his role.

Rupar's sentencing is set for April 20.
