Ken and Sheila Berry, who have been married 47 years, were escaping the Chicago weather on the golf course. Mrs. Berry always wears her engagement ring, which is worth approximately $20,000 and much more in memories.
She panicked when she noticed the ring was gone.
Mike Lafleur found the ring and at first thought he would sell it, but after talking to his wife, he contacted the golf course just in case it was reported missing.
Sheila Berry was thrilled to get it back, and her vacation from the Chicago winter had a happy ending after all.
