AT&T Illinois announced the campaign on Wednesday.
"This campaign is great, it's definitely for the teenagers, but it's for adults too," said Rose. "I think it is going to help all over."
Governor Pat Quinn and Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White are among the top politicians putting their support behind the effort.
It will include public service announcements and posters featuring Derrick Rose.
