But that title goes to Knoxville, Tenn.

It got a perfect score on the misery index according to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America.

Rounding out the top five are Louisville, Ky.; Charlotte, N.C.; Jackson, Miss.; and Chattanooga, Tenn.

The study measures pollen scores, the number of allergy medications used per patient as well as the number of allergy specialists per patient.

The report suggests that people are relying more on over-the-counter medications because they are stronger and more options are available.
