Former North Chicago police officer Devin Bickham Sr., his son Devin Junior and Cardell Taylor are each charged with first-degree murder. The charges involve the death of 29-year old Chervon Alexander. She was found shot to death in a parking lot Monday night.
"Everybody liked her, she had no enemies. She's a good person. It's a sad situation to happen," said Trey Wilson, victim's cousin.
"This is something that I believe at the end of the day, when it goes to trial, my client is gonna be found innocent," said Michael Clancy, attorney for Bickam Sr.
Investigators say Bickham Senior and Alexander were involved in a relationship and that he plotted with his co-defendants to get Alexander out of his life.
