New Yorker new CEO of Cook Co. Health System

Cook County's Health and Hospital board has hired an executive from New York as its new CEO.

Dr. Ramanathan Raju was introduced Friday morning. Raju is scheduled to start this fall and will make $500,000 a year plus bonuses.

He's currently an executive vice president at the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation. Raju is a board-certified surgeon.
