A jack-knifed semi caused a traffic nightmare on the Circle Interchange for several hours Sunday afternoon.

It happened on the outbound Dan Ryan ramp near 26th Street. ABC7's camera in the Willis Tower captured video of the accident.

The Chicago Fire Department responded with a hazardous material team since diesel fuel was leaking from the truck. At times, traffic had to be shut down completely as crews worked to upright the truck.

Crews worked all Sunday afternoon and into the night before removing the disabled truck from the roadway around 8:15 p.m., which was about 8 hours after the accident.
