Experts: 'Sleep texting' becoming more common

It seems some people have become so attached to their smart phones, that they are "sleep texting."

Sleep texting is when you text someone when you are sleepy, awoken from sleep or just not paying attention. Similar to sleep walking or sleep eating, experts say occurrences of sleep texting are becoming more common.

According to a Facebook page for sleep texting, the phenomenon is a sign of the times.

Doctors say the best thing someone can do to avoid sleep texting is to create a safe sleep environment and keep cell phones out of reach at bedtime.
