November 20, 2011 (CHICAGO) --
The General Assembly reconvenes on Tuesday, November 29, with many key issues still unresolved, such as the first-ever gambling casino in Chicago, four other casinos, slots for racetracks, pension reform, and tax cuts to keep some businesses from possibly leaving the state.
Our guests are two lawmakers in leadership positions. Democratic State Rep. Lou Lang of Skokie is deputy House majority leader, and chairperson of the House Gaming Committee.
Senator Carole Pankau of Bloomingdale serves the 23rd District and sits on multiple committees.
