Chicago police divers began searching the water after a pair of pants was found near the harbor's edge. They later found the body and said it appeared to be that of a missing 35-year-old man from the 4400-block of North Malden.
The medical examiner's office plans to conduct an autopsy to determine a cause of death.
Police pulled the man's body from Montrose Harbor about 8:20 p.m. He had been reported missing since March 2.
