The Star Press reports 61-year-old David Lee Howard pleaded guilty in January to two counts of child molesting. Howard was accused of assaulting the girl from ages 9 to 13. He was arrested last October after the photographs were discovered.
Delaware County Judge John Feick also ruled this week Howard is a sexually violent predator, which would restrict where Howard could live when he is released.
Chief Deputy Prosecutor Judi Calhoun said the sentencing was part of a plea agreement made in part to spare the victim from having to testify. Calhoun is now working to have Howard's photographs destroyed.
