Daley cut the ribbon for Kevin's Garden at its new location at the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. The garden was first created at Children's Memorial Hospital in memory of Kevin Daley, who died just before he turned 3 years old of complications related to spina bifida in 1981.
Daley's late wife, Maggie, helped plan the garden, which will give children a chance to enjoy nature while at the hospital. Maggie died in November 2011.
