Historic Chicago buildings added to endangered list

The list, compiled by the group Landmarks Illinois includes the former Northwestern Memorial Prentice Women's Hospital.

The clover-shaped structure built in 1975 has been vacant since last September. (trt=35)

The other Chicago-area buildings on the endangered list are the Blair House on North Sheridan Road in Lake Bluff, Fox River Country Day School in Elgin, the Hotel Guyon in the 4000 block of W. Washington and the Maywood Home for Widows of Soldiers on First Avenue in suburban Maywood.
