Retail development would go next to United Center

April 28, 2012 (CHICAGO)

Crain Chicago's Business reports the owners of the Bulls and the Blackhawks are teaming up to put together a privately funded $75 to $85 million development.

The potential retail structure would be located on the H lot and will connect to the east side of the stadium with an atrium-like overpass.

The 260,000-square-foot development is expected to include restaurants, bars and a team store.

The structure will also have a green roof, team offices and event space.
