Daily Herald: Horse Races Banned

Sunday afternoon horse races that have become beloved entertainment for spectators and a hated source of noise for neighbors are now the first McHenry County events to be banned by the Planning and Development department in at least a decade. And impending changes to the county's ordinances could prohibit the races entirely.
