Dallas bike lanes 'fake,' confusing for drivers

Bike lanes are popping up in Dallas, Texas, but they're not the work of city crews.

Someone is painting fake bike lane signs on crowded Dallas streets and two bridges near downtown.

Bike enthusiasts have been pushing for more bike lanes, but no one seems to know who's behind these markings. The colors are random, they markings are spaced unevenly and they stop abruptly. City officials say they're unsafe, and have crews out to remove them.

It's unclear if they will be replaced by real bike lanes.
