A woman and her grandchild are recovering after both were struck by a car in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood.

The woman was pushing her 2-year-old grandson in a stroller when they were hit at Roslyn Place and Clark Street just before noon Monday.

Both were taken to hospitals, but witnesses say their injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.

The woman may have suffered a broken leg.

The driver stayed on the scene and he was ticketed by police.
