ComEd crews return from helping in Sandy aftermath

November 14, 2012 (CHICAGO)

The crews rolled into Chicago's South Side Wednesday. They were among hundreds of workers who traveled to the East Coast to help in devastated areas.

"It was a different type of destruction but it was pretty intense. I witnessed a lot of trees, a lot more broken poles and things like that of that nature," ComEd employee Anthony Reis said.

A number of workers remain in New York. They're expected to come home over the weekend.
