Yule Log Hunt at the Morton Arboretum

December 30, 2012

A special annual scavenger hunt takes place again at the Morton Arboretum on Sunday: the 35th Annual Yule Log Hunt. This event has become a tradition for many families in the western suburbs. Diana Fischer-Woods, Special Events Coordinator at the Morton, joined us live during our ABC7 News Sunday Morning to explain how this works. Participants follow a list of clues until they find the Yule Log. A celebration follows. There is also a Yule Twig Hunt for kids, where small adventurers head out to find a Yule Log that is just their size.
