Antioxidants not helpful in lowering dementia risk

Anti-oxidants in coffee and tea may not be helpful in lowering the risk of dementia.

Researchers in the Netherlands found people who drank a lot of coffee and tea were just as likely as others to develop neurological problems. However, they say, antioxidants in fruits and vegetables may reduce the risk of stroke.

The study is published online by the journal Neurology.
