April 12, 2013 (CHICAGO) --Local distilleries like Few, Koval, North Shore, and Letherbee are producing high-quality spirits, including gins and bourbons. The Aviary uses the local spirits in some of the country's most creative cocktails.
2 oz FEW Barrel Aged Gin
1 oz Carpano Antica sweet vermouth
1/8 oz Luxardo Maraschino
2 dash orange bitters
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Stir well to chill and dilute. Strain into chilled coupe.
