Paul Sorvino receives Chicago Film Critics award

May 2, 2013 (CHICAGO)

Sorvino's skill playing tough guys is just a small part of his talent: he's also an opera singer, a sculptor, a painter and a cookbook author.

Sorvino has also acted in over 140 films, though he's best-known for playing mob boss Paulie in Goodfellas and Henry Kissinger in Nixon.

The actor says he was ready to quit Goodfellas just three days before filming started because he was so sure he couldn't be the lethal mobster Martin Scorsese wanted.
