Reports show Gov. Quinn raised more funds than opponents to date

Campaign finance reports show that Illinois Governor Pat Quinn has raised more money than the five people who want his job.

Campaign finance reports show that Illinois Governor Pat Quinn has raised more money than the five people who want his job.

The democratic incumbent raised about $1 million dollars from April 1 to June 30.

Fellow Democrat and former White House chief of staff Bill Daley has brought in more than $796,000.

On the Republican side, venture capitalist Bruce Rauner leads with $916,000 raised.

He's followed by state treasurer Dan Rutherford, state senators Kirk Dillard and Bill Brady.
