Sweaty shoes worn by someone with the flu wouldn't seem like a desirable item unless it was Michael Jordan doing the sweating.

The shoes Jordan wore in that memorable Game 5 against the Utah Jazz during the 1997 finals fetched a record-setting $104,000 at auction Thursday morning. An auction house authenticated the shoes, which came from a former Utah Jazz ballboy and were signed by Jordan himself. The buyer was not identified.

Jordan had flu-like symptoms for the game, yet still scored 38 points in leading the Bulls to victory and another NBA title.
